Göreme is a touristic village in the province Nevşehir, in central Anatolia of Türkiye.
With a spectacular landscape shaped entirely by erosion, the Göreme Valley and its surroundings are home to rock-hewn sanctuaries, a unique testament to post-iconoclastic Byzantine art.
